My name is Carissa Wright and I live in Melbourne, Australia. I am a lived experience talker for Suicide Prevention Australia and for Borderline Personality Disorder Foundation Australia. I have lived, suffered and survived BPD for ten years now. I originally had a personal blog about confronting and personal experiences I have had with Borderline. I will still be as raw and as honest as I was in my other blog, but will try communicate it better as I have matured a lot as a writer and have a lot better self care skills. My main aim for writing and being so open about my illness is to help people survive as talking helped me survive. The way to prevent a suicide is speaking openly about your pain and experience as the right people will listen. I hope I can have a positive impact on someone's life as others who have shared their experience with suicide have had on mine.
